1977 Chevrolet El Camino Classic Standard Cab Pickup 2-Door

1977 Chevrolet El Camino Classic Standard Cab Pickup 2-Door 5.0L

I’m a retired Mechanical engineer and this is my El Camino which I’ve owned since new and It’s time for someone younger and richer to restore it to it’s former Glory. This car is a good solid platform to restore to the striking beauty it was when new. It’s driveable but has been driven very little in the past 10 years. I just had a new fuel pump installed and some fuel tank cleanup done to get it running. The engine is not original. The original engine was replaced at about 70,000 miles because of an engineering experiment that went wrong (not the car’s fault). Cruise control and A/C are inop. Windshield is cracked. The body has minor surface rust and rust through in the lower rear fenders and the cab floor will need replacement. There is minor parking lot denting in the driver side door and lower front fender and the bumpers. The car has never been otherwise damaged. I still have the original owners manual and have a maintenance history.
